Fish don’t see water and we don’t see the words we use to navigate our worlds. I work with nursing mothers so I work with language. Milk flows or it doesn’t but the way it flows has everything to do with how closely our babies wrap around our breasts. We can change and be changed by the way we mother, and by the ways we speak of mothering.
